Prishtina, 14 April 2016 – Deputy Minister of European Integration, Mr. Ramadan Ilazi, hosted today in a meeting the delegation of senior officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Estonia, headed by Mr. Mart Laanemae, Undersecretary for Europe and Transatlantic Relations at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Estonia. During the meeting it was discussed about European agenda of Kosovo and in particular about the entry into force of the Stabilisation and Association Agreement (SAA) and the visa liberalization process for Kosovo citizens. Deputy Minister Ilazi, initially thanked the Estonian delegation for their continuous support that the Republic of Estonia has provided to Republic of Kosovo and praised the bilateral cooperation between the two countries. Further on, he informed the commitment of institutions towards conclusion of visa liberalization process, emphasizing that Kosovo is at a crucial stage in terms of this process since it has met the set criteria. Deputy Minister Ilazi also emphasized that Kosovo institutions are committed to implement the SAA within the set deadlines. Meanwhile, Undersecretary for Europe and Transatlantic Relations at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Estonia, Mr. Mart Laanemae, reaffirmed his country’s support to Kosovo’s European agenda, including the visa liberalization process for Kosovo citizens.
