Prishtina, 12 January 2016. – Today, the Deputy Minister for European Integration, Mrs. Anila Statovci-Demaj hosted the Ambassador of Croatia to Kosovo, Mrs. Marija Kapitanović.
Deputy Minister Statovci-Demaj extended her gratitude to the Ambassador Kapitanović for the continuous support and great cooperation that Republic of Croatia provided to Kosovo, particularly in its European Integration process.
During the meeting, Deputy Minister Statovci-Demaj discussed the issue of the Stabilisation and Association Agreement (SAA), a process that Kosovo society and institutions are coping upon the implementation of the SAA, having in mind that Croatia was the first country to which it was applied the SAA instrument, and how they manage the challenges to this process. Kosovo needs Croatian experience and expertise in the implementation of the SAA, in order to serve us as a roadmap in this process.
On her part, Ambassador Kapitanović expressed the readiness of the Government of Croatia for further cooperation. Deputy Minister Statovci-Demaj and Ambassador Kapitanović agreed to deepen further the cooperation upon SAA implementation.
