Deputy Minister, Mr. Kasapolli attended the summit on “Open Government Partnership” in London

Deputy Minister Kasapolli, in his speech addressed to the participants stated that; Kosovo`s membership in this organization (OGP) will only strengthen more transparent, effective and accountable governance. This is achieved only with institutions that empower citizens and are accountable to their aspirations. This linking can only be see effective with a coordination with political leadership, technical expertise and continuous efforts, but also sustainable investments followed by cooperation between state institutions and civil society.

Deputy Minister Kasapolli, stated:” As for OGP, on behalf of the Government we guarantee full support, inclusive lead, full transparency for each step to be taken during this process. Also, we guarantee that all obligations will be accomplished by the Government, during and after membership process in OGP. We fully understand that inclusiveness and transparency are essential parts of building consensus on Kosovo’s membership process to the Open Government Partnership (OGP) “.

Deputy Minister continued to say that: “Cooperation between all actors of society turning the current situation into a winning situation for all parties involved will be increased. We believe that before us is a long way and is required more efforts from us, but we are also aware that this is a necessity because we are the ones who hold the burden to lead our citizens towards a sustainable future. ”
