On this occasion, Minister Çitaku assured Mr. Mustafa that the Government of the Republic of Kosovo is committed to support the Albanians of the Presheva valley. Minister Çitaku stated that: “I am very pleased to visit Presheva, for the first time in the capacity of Minister of the Republic of Kosovo. Thank you very much for the hospitality. On this occasion I would like to emphasize once again that our government is aware of the Albanians situation in your municipality and we will do everything possible in every aspect to help and support your citizens. I would like to let you know that you’re not alone. “
On his part, the Mayor of Presheva municipality, Mr. Ragmi Mustafa thanked Minister Çitaku for her visit, congratulated on the local elections and once again thanked her for the support and commitment of the Government of the Republic of Kosovo to the Albanians of the Presheva municipality.
On this journey, Minister Çitaku also visited the primary school “Selami Hallaçi” and made a symbolic donation of textbooks for students of this school and on this occasion announced the Government’s commitment to fund the establishment of a Library for the citizens of this area.
Afterwards, Minister Çitaku ended her visit after a meeting with Albanian youth from civil society of this area.
