Translated Legal Acts of EU Legislation

In the course of the Cooperation Agreement, dated 26 March 2014, between the Ministry of European Integration of the Republic of Kosovo and Ministry of European Integration of the Republic of Albania on translation of EU legislation into Albanian language and cooperation in the field of approximation of legislation, the Ministry of European Integration of Albania handed over to the Ministry of European Integration of  Kosovo several acts of European legislation translated into Albanian language, these documents were provided in the framework of the cooperation established between both Governments to advance their common challenge in the process of EU integration.   

Under this Agreement, the parties shall establish the Technical Commission for translation of European Union legislation- “acquis” into Albanian language and cooperation in the field of approximation of legislation.

Under Article 3 of the Agreement, the Commission shall have the following competencies:

– Technical Commission defines and coordinates the annual Calendar of EU legislation that needs to be translated in Albanian language by each party;
– Technical Commission defines the unified procedures of translation and verification of EU legislation in Albanian language by the parties;
– Technical Commission certifies the final versions of acts translated into Albanian
language.

Commission will be assisted by a Secretariat composed of parties.
