Division for Agriculture, Forestry, Rural Development and Food Security

1. The duties and responsibilities of the Division for Agriculture, Forestry, Rural Development and Food Security are:
1.1. Coordination of the stabilization-association process, within the negotiation chapters 11, 12 and 13;
1.2. Coordination of governmental negotiation structures in the field of European integration, within the framework of negotiation chapters 11, 12 and 13;
1.3. Coordination of the preparation, implementation and monitoring of Government documents in the field of European integration, within the framework of negotiation chapters 11, 12 and 13;
1.4. Coordination of regular reporting to the European Commission, within the framework of negotiation chapters 11, 12 and 13;
1.5. Providing support for institutional advancement for the implementation of EU legislation (Acquis), within the framework of negotiation chapters 11, 12 and 13;
1.6. Providing support in the process of approximation of the relevant chapters of the Acquis, within the framework of negotiating chapters 11, 12 and 13.
2. The Head of the Division for Agriculture, Forestry, Rural Development and Food Security reports to the Director of the Office.
3. The number of employees in the Division for Agriculture, Forestry, Rural Development and Food Security is three (3).
