Division for Economy, Regional Development and Statistics

1. The duties and responsibilities of the Division for Economy, Regional Development and Statistics are:
1.1. Coordination of the stabilization-association process, within the negotiation chapters 4, 17, 18, 22, 32, 33 and the economic criteria of Copenhagen;
1.2. Coordination of government negotiation structures in the field of European integration, within the framework of negotiation chapters 4, 17, 18, 22, 32, 33 and the economic criteria of Copenhagen;
1.3. Coordination of the preparation, implementation and monitoring of Government documents in the field of European integration, within the framework of negotiation chapters 4, 17, 18, 22, 32, 33 and the economic criteria of Copenhagen;
1.4. Coordination of regular reporting to the European Commission, within the framework of negotiating chapters 4, 17, 18, 32, 33 and the economic criteria of Copenhagen;
1.5. Providing support for institutional advancement for the implementation of EU legislation (Acquis), within the framework of negotiating chapters 4, 17, 18, 22, 32, 33 and the economic criteria of Copenhagen;
1.6. Providing support in the process of approximation of the relevant chapters of the Acquis, within the framework of negotiating chapters 4, 17, 18, 22, 32, 33 and the economic criteria of Copenhagen.
2. The Head of the Division for Economy, Regional Development and Statistics reports to the Director of the Office.
3. The number of employees within the Division for Economy, Regional Development and Statistics is three (3).
