Prishtine, 9 March 2018 – Minister of European Integration, Dhurata Hoxha, paid a visit to the Innovation Centre Kosovo, where she was hosted by the director of this Centre Uranik Begu.
Minister Hoxha’s visit to ICK was dedicated to “Startup Europe Week”, a program that promotes new businesses and ideas for innovation and entrepreneurship.
Minister Hoxha, appraised this visit as impressive. “The conversation with the start-up and the freelancer community gave me a lot of optimism for the goals of our young people who need more of such support to empower their initiative, the idea and the realization in function of creating new jobs”, stressed Minister Hoxha.
The Minister stressed that one of the pillars to invest in the integration process is the creation of new jobs, the empowerment of start-up programs investment, the support of small and medium enterprises and the increase of the competitiveness of our enterprises.
“The ICK was a proof that how seriously these recommendations are taken and how they are implemented in practice. Our young people, after completing their education, should not join the army of the unemployed but the business community and the community that contributes to the growth of employment”, said Minister of European Integration, Dhurata Hoxha.
While the ICK Director, Uranik Begu informed Minister Hoxha about the Balkan’s largest start-up and the Business Incubator Conference, two current chapters of the excellent engagement of the Innovation Centre Kosovo that implement and promote the best ideas of businesses in information technology. Also, he highlighted the topic carried out with students, Entrepreneurship as Opportunity, organized a day before.
