Prishtina, 18 October 2017 – Minister of European Integration, Dhurata Hoxha met today, David Cullen, Head of DG D3 Unit at the General Directorate of the European Commission. The meeting was attended by the Minister of Public Administration, Mahir Yagcilar, and the Minister of Finance, Bedri Hamza.
During this meeting, it was emphasized that the integration process dynamics shall be accelerated.
Minister Hoxha stressed that all stakeholders are involved in contributing to the implementation of the Stabilization and Association Agreement, to the priorities of its components as well as the time limits for its implementation.
“Our commitment is remarkable and we welcome any support from the European Commission, their continuous recommendations to our institutions, and from other important European institutions,” stated Minister Hoxha.
The discussion focused in terms of maximizing overall engagement and commitment to implement pledges assumed within this process.
Ministers ensured political commitment to Sector Budget Support in Public Administration Reform, with particular emphasis on Indicator 6 (agreement and engagement by the Prime Minister and the President of the Assembly).
Mr. Cullen congratulated the ministers present on their commitment and dynamics of this process, by offering support in this regard.
In addition to Sector Budget Support in Public Administration Reform, Mr. Cullen also discussed Public Finance Management, focusing on administration and finance.
