Prishtina, 8 December, 2017 – Minister of European Integration, Dhurata Hoxha, met today the Head of the Liaison Office of the Slovak Republic in Pristina, Lubomir Batary. At the meeting, it was emphasized that Kosovo institutions on the integration path are interested to continue the cooperation with Slovakia in all areas of common interest, in particular the experience and assistance in the integration process. “We are committed to advancing democracy and increasing welfare for all citizens of our country. The Slovak support for our country is welcomed because we aim for the same values, Euro-Atlantic values. In this regard, our commitment is unstoppable”;, said Minister Hoxha. Further, Minister Hoxha has requested that Slovakia, as a European Union country, recognize the state of Kosovo, thanking once again for the recognition of Kosovo passports. The Head of the Liaison Office of the Slovak Republic in Kosovo, Lubomir Batary, congratulated Minister Hoxha for taking the office, expressing Slovakia’s further support for Kosovo’s European integration processes and that Slovakia will be a supporter of Kosovo in the challenges of this process.
