Prishtina, 26 October 2017 – Today, the Minister of European Integration, Ms. Dhurata Hoxha, received in a meeting the Chargé d’affaires a.i of the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Sweden to Kosovo, Mr. Anders Wollter, with whom she discussed about the integration process, and the achievements and challenges thereof.
After emphasizing the commitment to the dynamism of the integration process, Minister Hoxha pointed out the priorities including implementation of the SAA, strengthening the rule of law, reforms in line with recommendations for this process and visa liberalization.
“The dynamism of the process is substantial and inclusive. Our future is determined and for that we have national consensus. Our responsibilities will be fulfilled and we expect full integration of our country in international institutions,” said Minister Hoxha.
Mr. Anders Wollter praised the engagement of Kosovo institutions in the integration process, reiterating his country’s support in this process.
“We appreciate Kosovo’s institutional commitment to the integration process. The Kingdom of Sweden will be beside you, as we have been so far. Challenges of the integration process and the values of this integration will make Kosovo a better place and part of the European values, where it should be,” said Mr. Wollter, extending his support to Minister Hoxha.
The intensification of the cooperation and support of the integration process from the Kingdom of Sweden, according to Minister Hoxha, will mark new progress and achievement of interest for our country and our citizens, contributing to the realization of this priority as soon as possible.
