Prishtina, 4 December 2017 – The acceleration of the process regarding the obligations arising from the European Reform Agenda was the topic of discussions in the meeting of the Ministerial Council for European Integration, where amongst the participants was the Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj, as a chairperson, and the Minister of European Integration, Dhurata Hoxha, as the co-chair of this Council. Minister Dhurata Hoxha stressed that there is progress in some areas but there is still much to be done, since the European integration process is not an alternative but the path the country has committed itself to go through, therefore she said “we all should carry out our duties in order to achieve progress”. “We have held meetings in the Working Committee and the topics that are on today’s agenda have been identified as in need to be discussed at the level of the Ministerial Council”, said Minister Hoxha, asking everyone to get familiar with the challenges related to these priorities and what actions are required in order to proceed with implementation of such priorities. The Minister asked the ministers to make the Council familiar with the challenges regarding the agenda, the way such challenges will be addressed and what actions should be taken or how the Government and all of us can help to overcome those challenges. With their discussions, the ministers of the departments affected by the issues foreseen in the agenda contributed to the meeting by providing responses to those challenges and expressing readiness to accelerate the European Reform Agenda.
