Prishtina, 24 April 2018 – Minister of European Integration, Dhurata Hoxha hosted in a meeting the French Ambassador Didier Chabert, whereby it was discussed about the European Commission country report, achievements evidenced therein as well as the challenges of this process.
Minister Hoxha stressed that the European Commission Report is a good objective and guide for our achievements and challenges, focusing on the priorities of the process through which the country is going.
“The report is objective; it has evidenced our achievements and challenges, providing guidance on where to focus to accelerate our integration goals.
We believe our achievements are in line with the visa liberalization requirements, 95 of which have been implemented.
Achievements in the fight against organized crime and corruption will not stop even after the visa liberalization, because we will fight this negative phenomenon continuously, in accordance with the values we aspire”, said Minister Dhurata Hoxha.
On this occasion, the Minister urged France’s support for the visa liberalization decision. Ambassador Chabert stressed that France has consistently supported and will support the integration process of the Republic of Kosovo, contributing to the international level and to the state-building.
The minister at the meeting stressed the importance of national consensus in the integration process, because, this is the only alternative regarding our future within the European Union and its values
