Minister Hoxha: Kosovo and Macedonia to be included in enlargement plans

Prishtina, 18 January 2018 – Minister for European Integration, Dhurata Hoxha, conducting official meetings with Mr. Bujar Osmani, Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of Macedonia, responsible for European Affairs.

The first meeting of the Joint Committee on European Integration between the Republic of Kosovo and Macedonia is taking place within the framework of the Cooperation Agreement on issues in the areas of European Integration.

Exchange of experiences in the areas of European integration, between the two countries, was the purpose of these meetings.

Before the meeting, Minister Hoxha emphasized that this joint meeting will reaffirm our common readiness and commitment, of Kosovo and Macedonia, for our common path towards common values within the integration processes, within European integrations.

“I am honoured that today, together with the Deputy Prime Minister Osmani, we will deepen the cooperation, align and coordinate the facilitations to each other, the integration process”, stressed Minister Hoxha.

We are committed to implementing the objectives of our countries and our citizens for the integration process. Together, emphasized Minister Hoxha, the challenges of the processes through which our countries are going, are more easily achievable.

However, we are determined to our path, integration processes, being part of Europe, integrated within European values and achievements, stated Minister Hoxha.
