Prishtina, 29 January 2018 – Minister of European Integration, Dhurata Hoxha, in Vienna, is attending the International Conference dedicated to the Strategy for the European future, bringing together high officials of the European Union, Balkans, USA and other countries.
“The Vienna Conference, Com-Sult, is focused on the Strategy for future of Europe, with the motto Go West – Western Balkan! The European integration process is expected, within the enlargement strategy, to include Western Balkan countries,”; wrote Minister Hoxha in the social media.
The conference documents say that interest in the Balkan region has not increased with respect to refugee and migration flows management. As other countries leave Europe, the European perspective continues to play an important role for the Balkan countries.
The European Union is looking forward to present its strategy for the Balkan countries in 2018. What is the economic and political perspective for the Balkan countries? What are current economic strategies in place in the Balkan countries? What further steps are needed to implement the EU Strategy in the Balkan countries?
