Prishtina, 19 June 2019 – Minister of European Integration, Dhurata Hoxha, hosted a group of international students from Amsterdam University College, with whom she discussed the European perspective of the region and the challenges of the integration process.
The European Council has carried out assessments for the achievements and challenges, whereas regarding the issue of Visa liberalization, it assessed it as being ”under review”, said Minister Hoxha.
”We have great expectations because we have worked a lot to meet the 95 criteria from the visa liberalization roadmap. I consider that this there is injustice towards our youth in the first place. Our students are prevented from achieving the desired qualities by them for studies, but also our entire life has restrictions”, stated Minister Hoxha, highlighting the European perspective as the only path for Kosovo and the region.
In an interactive discussion with the students that expressed their interest about the social developments and the political and cultural perspective of the region, Minister Hoxha assessed the achievements for the integration process, stating that the implementation of the SAA, reforms and approximation with EU values are a priority and national consensus.
”Our path has no alternative, it is within Euro-Atlantic integration values and processes”, emphasized Minister Hoxha.
