Prishtina, 10 October 2017 – Minister of European Integration, Dhurata Hoxha, hosted the Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to Kosovo, Mr. Heldt, whereby discussed the progress related to the integration process, its achievements and challenges. She congratulated the new Ambassador to Kosovo, by offering her cooperation.
United in diversity, it is the motto that our country has already embraced, building a state for all its citizens, all communities, stated Minister Hoxha and added that Europe is not complete without the Western Balkans.
“Our Euro-Atlantic integration path is unstoppable and we are committed to meeting the expectations of our citizens, free movement and soon Euro-Atlantic integration. We have embraced the integration values and accept it as ours, and we are working to accomplish this process as soon as possible. After all, neither Europe is complete without the Western Balkans,” stated Minister Hoxha.
German Ambassador Heldt stressed the importance of a successful implementation of the Stabilization and Association Agreement and offered support to the processes that Kosovo is going through.
Germany strongly supports Kosovo, stated German Ambassador, by adding that integration process is a substantial process, and reconfirmed to Minister Hoxha the continuation of German government support to the European perspective of Kosovo. Same time, he shared his congratulation to Minister Hoxha upon her appointment to lead the integration process as one of the key issues where Kosovo institutions commitment shall be focused.
Minister Hoxha highly praised German support and regards Germany as one of the main friends of Kosovo in the international arena. Minister Hoxha also expressed the readiness of the Government of the Republic of Kosovo in further strengthening the cooperation with Germany to the interest of Kosovo’s development and its approximation with the European Union
