Prishtina, 24 February 2017 – Minister of European Integration, Dhurata Hoxha, after the news of achievement of consensus on the ratification of the demarcation agreement, stressed that “this is a long-awaited news for all citizens of the Republic of Kosovo, as well as for our friends.”
Minister Hoxha underlined that isolation is coming to an end. She further wrote that “through comprehensive work and commitment together with EU institutions, we ensure implementation of procedures and the measurement of our commitments in the areas of rule of law, economic growth, citizens’ welfare and all other values to which aspire as a state.”

“Achievement of the consensus on the ratification of demarcation is a long-awaited news for all citizens of the Republic of Kosovo, as well as for our friends. This consensus reconfirmed our Euro-Atlantic path, our national consensus. Isolation is coming to an end.
Following the ratification of the demarcation, the procedures for visa liberalization for our citizens will begin.
Through comprehensive work and commitment together with EU institutions, we ensure implementation of procedures and the measurement of our commitments in the areas of rule of law, economic growth, citizens’ welfare and all other values to which aspire as a state.
Today testified that the will of Kosovo’s political leaders has never failed to bring much-anticipated changes to each citizen. Citizens are above all!”
