Minister for European Integration Bekim Çollaku together with the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Hashim Thaçi hosted in a meeting the parliamentary delegation of France-Kosovo friendship group from the National Assembly of France.

At this meeting they discussed about the aspects of excellent cooperation and relations between the two countries with a focus on developments that regarding the integration process of the Republic of Kosovo in European Union.

Minister Çollaku thanked the parliamentary delegation about the continuous support of France in advancement of the European agenda for Kosovo, and informed the delegation about the engagements that are being undertaken in achieving concrete results regarding the two main priorities of the European agenda for this year, such as: SAA signing and the conclusion of visa liberalization dialogue.

Minister Çollaku added that the Republic of Kosovo is fulfilling all its obligations, therefore we expect from Brussels to recognize these achievements and reward them on meritorious manner. I repeat, there is no more room for rhetoric, the Republic of Kosovo needs concrete steps towards materialization of European integration.

On the other hand, the head of the French delegation, deputy Genviève Gosselin-Fleury reiterated the stance of France for supporting the integration process of Kosovo, by adding that “France will continue to support the Republic of Kosovo in political as well as in economical sphere.
