Stockholm, 18 December 2015 – Conclusion of the Visa Liberalization process and the entry into force and implementation of the Stabilization and Association Agreement were the key topics on which the Minister for European Integration, Mr. Bekim Çollaku made a presentation before European diplomats and his counterparts from Western Balkan countries at the High-level Conference held in Stockholm “Western Balkans EU Integration: A mission to be fulfilled”.
At this conference dedicated to the EU enlargement process within the Western Balkan countries and regional cooperation, Minister Çollaku made it very clear that Kosovo is ready for the visa liberalization process. With regard to this process, he emphasized that Kosovo has promptly fulfilled all the criteria set.
Whereas the Stabilization and Association Agreement between Kosovo and the European Union is considered to be a historical step which clarifies and guarantees EU integration. This conference is co-organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Sweden, European Commission and Western Balkan countries.
