Minister Çollaku sent gifts to the children of Roma, Ashkali and Egyptian communities

Prishtina, 30 December 2014 – Minister of European Integration, Bekim Çollaku visited today the Centre for Cooperation and Integration “Fidan Lahu” in Fushe Kosova, and the NGO “Health for All”, where he spent some moments with the children of Roma, Ashkali and Egyption communities.

Minister Çollaku, on this occasion, donated several used computers and various computer equipments to the children of these communities. Also, Minister Çollaku in the NGO “Health for All” distributed some gifts for the New Year holiday.

“The Ministry of European Integration is strongly committed to improve the living conditions of Roma, Ashkali and Egyptians communities, and fully integrate them into our society through the Strategy and Action Plan”, stated Minister Çollaku.  He also said that “This donation, small as it might be, aims to improve the living conditions of Roma, Ashkali and Egyptian communities, and we will constantly engage to create political, social, economical, educational and cultural conditions, strengthen the identity, respect and protect the values of this communities”.

The director of the “Health for All” organization, Mr. Gezim Hoti, expressed his gratitude to the minister for this initiative, and emphasized that such visits serve as an awareness building tool for the full integration of these communities into our society.

“We, as the staff of the “Health for All” organization, and on behalf of the RAE community express our gratitude for these gifts, and welcome the commitment of the Ministry for European Integration to support our communities”

Today, the secondary school “Ukshin Hoti” in Krusha e Madhe, also received several computers and computer equipments as a donation from the Ministry of European Integration.
