During the meeting, Minister Çollaku and Ambassador of Norway discussed latest developments in Kosovo, with particular emphasis on powerful advancing of European Integration processes.
Minister Çollaku expressed the gratitude of the people and the Government of Kosovo for the broad support that Norway provided and continues provide to Kosovo. Minister Çollaku also emphasized the willingness of the Government to further strengthen the bilateral relations and broad exchanges between Kosovo and Norway.
Regarding the recent developments in the country, particularly the protest of several days ago, Minister Çollaku and Ambassador Braathu agreed that right to protest is guaranteed, but the protests must be peaceful.
Ambassador Braathu expressed the willingness of Norway to further support Kosovo in its integration processes, as well as commitment to strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries.
Norway is one of the largest donor countries in Kosovo and, despite the fact that Norway is not a member of EU, strongly supports the Euro-Atlantic perspective of Kosovo.
