MEI announces the beneficiaries that will benefit from MEI project subsidies

Same as every year, the Ministry of European Integration, has announced during this year the public invitation for subsidizing the projects in the field of European integration.

Deputy Minister Statovci-Demaj stated that MEI has a very limited budget for subsidizing the projects but it always considers the possibility of selecting the innovative projects that despite the small financial amount have a major impact in awareness of citizens regarding the European integration process.

Ms. Statovci-Demaj stated that: “In the light of this round of projects, we have had a great interest from civil society, where we received 153 projects for subsidies. Given the extraordinary competition, it has been very difficult to select the best 12 projects, but the selection committee has chosen the projects that will generate maximum effect in awareness of citizens on the topic of European Integration of the Republic of Kosovo.”

She praised the beneficiaries about their work and efforts invested in preparing the projects and invited them to continue such kind of cooperation in the future and to increase the interest of civil society in order to be more active regarding the European integration process.
