Ms. Daviet discussed about Kosovo’s European agenda focusing on visa liberalization process and preparations for beginning of implementation of the SAA.
Also the central agenda of the meeting was preparation that Kosovo is doing to participate in the Paris Conference this year, as a continuation of the Berlin Process.
Minister Çollaku estimated that the Paris conference will be an extraordinary opportunity for strengthening of the regional cooperation through the implementation of various projects through which will benefit the citizens of Kosovo and other Western Balkan countries in the process of European integration. The focus of the Paris conference in addition to infrastructure projects that have already been agreed upon, will be the strengthening of the role of youth in the Western Balkan countries through various programs to be funded by the EU.
Berlin Process is an initiative of the German Chancellor, Ms. Angela Merkel, with the aim to provide political and financial support for Western Balkan countries in the process of European integration.
The process began with the Berlin Conference in 2014, to continue with the Vienna Summit held in August 2015 and this year continues with the Paris Conference
