In Brussels is discussed the progress regarding visa liberalization process

During this meeting Minister Çitaku and Minister Rexhepi informed officials of European Commission for the progress achieved in all blocks regarding visa liberalization, with special emphasis it was presented the previous recommendations and plan’s for following weeks and months.

Minister Çitaku presented the achievements in finalizing the legal and policy framework related to this process and the main achievements that the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo have achieved together with EULEX, the EU Office in Kosovo and other international partners.

While, Minister Rexhepi informed the participants about the concrete achievements of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Kosovo Police have undertaken until now. At the end of the meeting agreed on further steps, respectively assessment missions regarding criteria implementation monitoring in terms of visa liberalization.
