Greece supports Kosovo towards EU integration

Prishtina, 15 December 2014 – Minister of European Integration, Mr. Bekim Çollaku met with the Chief of Liaison Office of Greece in Kosovo Ambassador Constantina Athanassiadou.

Minister Çollaku informed Ambassador Athanassiadou on the plans and commitment of the Government of Kosovo to further advance the European agenda. At the same time, both reaffirmed the commitment to the advancement of bilateral relations in the political, economic, trade and social dimension.

Minister Çollaku expressed his gratitude to the Ambassador Athanassiadou for Greece’s support as an important partner for the region towards building of good neighborly relations, with special emphasis on the process of European integration. Among others Minister Çollaku said: “Kosovo appreciates the support that Greece has given and gives to the building of the European perspective of our country”.

Ambassador of Greece, Constantina Athanassiadou praised Kosovo’s achievements within the process of European integration and stressed the continued support of Greece to contribute to the integration of the entire Balkan region into the European family.

At the end Minister Çollaku also expressed his own commitment to further strengthening of bilateral relations and exchanges between our two countries.
