Minister Çollaku, expressed its gratitude to the Minister Kaljurand in regards to the Estonian support given to Kosovo in many areas, especially through their presence and contribution to the KFOR and EULEX missions as well for supporting Kosovo’s European agenda.
Concerning the European agenda, Minister Çollaku informed in details the Minister Kaljurand about the progress, by stating that: “Kosovo met its obligations, therefore, we expect the materialization of our work towards the signing of the Stabilization and Association Agreement (SAA ) as well as a positive recommendation for visa liberalization process for Kosovo citizens.
Also, Minister Çollaku reiterated its stance that integration of Western Balkan countries into the European Union and NATO is key to the stability and development in Kosovo and the region.
Kosovo will persuade the Estonian example regarding the integration into EU and NATO, added further the Minister Çollaku.
On the other hand, Minister Kaljurand commended Minister Çollaku, on the progress that Kosovo made in light of the European agenda, as well as for decisions of Kosovo institutions which constitute a significant step towards Euro – Atlantic integration.
The Estonian Chief diplomat reconfirmed the Estonian supporting position to Kosovo in signing the Stabilization and Association Agreement and Visa Liberalization, as well as their strong support to the Kosovo’s membership in UNESCO and other international organizations.
Upon this occasion, both parties agreed to strengthen the cooperation between the two countries especially in the field of innovation and e-governance, a field that Estonia continues to serve as model country.
During his stay in Tallinn, Minister of European Integration, Mr. Bekim Çollaku, held other meetings with Estonian high officials.
