Upon this occasion, Dutch diplomats commended Minister Çollaku upon the establishment of contractual relations with the EU, through the signing of the SAA, also encouraged Kosovo institutions to continue with the next steps towards fulfilling reforms deriving from this Agreement.
“Netherlands is looking forward to help Kosovo in implementing these reforms, and it will provide support to Kosovo`s membership in UNESCO and other international organizations”, stated Deputy Minister Jones – Bos.
Minister Çollaku expressed his gratitude to the Deputy Minister Jones – Bos, for the ongoing support provided from Netherlands to Kosovo, in particular the support provided in integration process, considering that Netherlands reconfirmed its support in light of visa liberalization process for the citizens of Kosovo.
The meeting discussed the progress and challenges related to the rule of law and security sector.
Dutch diplomats assured Minister Çollaku that in next presidency of the EU, chaired by the Netherlands, will continue to remain committed in supporting the Western Balkans.
Whereas, Minister Çollaku emphasized that integration of Western Balkans into EU is the only way to maintain stability in these countries.
