Deputy Minister Kasapolli hosted today a delegation from Japan

Prishtina, 24 June 2014 – Deputy Minister of European Integration Gëzim Kasapolli, hosted today in a meeting a delegation from Japan, which was lead  by Toshiya Abe, Resident Representative of JICA Office for Balkans. During the meeting with Japanese delegation, they spoke about relations and cooperation between two countries, about further deepening of this cooperation at bilateral and multilateral plan, as well as about the projects of Japan International Cooperation Agency for citizens of Kosovo.

The main topic of this meeting was drafting of a new project proposal from JICA for assisting development of communities, concentrated in municipalities of Klina and Istog. The project will contribute Government’s vision to create a multiethnic society and will help in the process of building the trust between ethnic communities.

On this occasion Deputy Minister Kasapolli, on behalf of the Ministry of European Integration and Kosovo Government, thanked JICA and the Japan Government representatives, and also their staff in Prishtina for their commitment to assist and support Kosovo in improving living conditions for its citizens.
“JICA’s aid provided to Kosovo such as technical and professional assistance but also as a direct support is very welcomed from the people and is important for development of services and development of our country,” said Deputy Minister Kasapolli in his speech.
