On students’ interest during this meeting was discussed about relations of Kosovo with the EU, economic and political development of Kosovo, the last local elections held in Kosovo, regional cooperation as well the inclusion of Kosovo in International Organizations. On this occasion, Deputy Minister Kasapolli made a short presentation on the work of Ministry of European Integration, and its European agenda, as well as the perspective of the whole region into the European Union.
Mr. Kasapolli stated: “The integration process into the European Union will assist Kosovo in building efficient democratic and sustainable institutions for a long-term development, and it is worth noting that the whole political spectrum in the country is in compliance with European agenda, that with this internal consensus makes it much easier for meeting the criteria.”
Students had a great interest to understand all the details of the progress made in the country since after the war in Kosovo and special emphasis was placed on the advancement of Kosovo with European agenda, especially negotiations for signing the Stabilization and Association Agreement with the European Union.
