Prishtina, 1 October 2015 – Deputy Minister of European Integration, Mr Ramadan Ilazi hosted today in a meeting the head of Department of Europe from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Republic of Austria, Ambassador Hubert Heiss, Ambassador Werner Almhofer and Austrian Ambassador in Kosovo, Mr Johann Brieger.Deputy Minister Ilazi during the meeting thanked the Austrian Government and people for the support provided to Kosovo. Deputy Minister also informed Ambassador Heiss about the latest developments in Kosovo and the progress in European agenda, stressing that the only way for stability and development in the Western Balkans is the process of European integration.
Ambassador Heiss expressed the appraisal about the progress achieved in Kosovo, by underlining the importance of courageous decisions that Kosovo has taken during the recent months, which have strengthened the European perspective for Kosovo.
The two interlocutors praised that the Vienna Summit within Berlin Process was successful, and this process is seen as an important platform for cooperation of Western Balkan countries.
