Call for proposals on rights and participation of children from the CERV Program is opened until March 26

February 8, 2024

Within the framework of the EU Program “Citizens, Equality, Rights and Value – CERV” (“Citizens, Equality, Rights and Values”) a call has been opened that aims to support, advance and implement comprehensive policies for the protection and promotion of children’s rights, including the right to participation.

The main priorities of the call are: children’s mental health, inclusion of the children’s rights perspective at the national and local level, children’s engagement and participation, as well as the understanding of democratic rights, which begin in childhood.

This call focuses on the implementation of actions and recommendations at EU, national and local level set out in the relevant areas of the EU Strategy on the Rights of the Child. Projects can be national or transnational, but transnational ones are especially encouraged.

The deadline for submission of proposals is March 26, 2024.

This call represents a valuable opportunity for organizations from Kosovo that aim to contribute to the advancement of children’s rights and participation.

CERV is the EU’s largest program in the field of human rights, European memory and cooperation in the European area and countries aspiring to join the EU. The Republic of Kosovo has signed the agreement with the European Union for Kosovo’s participation in CERV in December 2023.
