Judiciary and Fundamental Rights Division

1. The duties and responsibilities of the Division for the Judiciary and Fundamental Rights are:
1.1. Coordination of the stabilization-association process, within the negotiation chapter 23;
1.2. Coordination of governmental negotiation structures in the field of European integration, within the framework of negotiation chapter 23;
1.3. Coordination of the preparation, implementation and monitoring of Government documents in the field of European integration, within the framework of negotiation chapter 23;
1.4. Coordination of regular reporting to the European Commission, within the negotiation chapter 23;
1.5. Providing support for institutional advancement for the implementation of EU legislation (Acquis), within the framework of negotiation chapter 23;
1.6. Providing support in the process of approximation of the relevant chapters of the Acquis, within the negotiation chapter 23.
2. The Head of the Division for the Judiciary and Fundamental Rights reports to the Director of the Office.
3. The number of employees in the Division for the Judiciary and Fundamental Rights is three (3).
