Internal Market and Trade Division

1. The duties and responsibilities of the Division for Internal Market and Trade are:
1.1. Coordination of the stabilization-association process, within the negotiation chapters 1, 3, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 16, 20, 28, 29 and 30;
1.2. Coordination of government negotiation structures in the field of European integration, within negotiation chapters 1, 3, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 16, 20, 28, 29 and 30;
1.3. Coordination of the preparation, implementation and monitoring of Government documents in the field of European integration, in the framework of negotiation chapters 1, 3, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 16, 20, 28, 29 and 30;
1.4. Coordination of regular reporting to the European Commission, within negotiation chapters 1, 3, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 16, 20, 28, 29 and 30;
1.5. Providing support for institutional advancement for the implementation of EU legislation (Acquis), within the negotiation chapters 1, 3, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 16, 20, 28, 29 and 30;
1.6. Providing support in the process of approximation of the relevant chapters of the Acquis, within the negotiation chapters 1, 3, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 16, 20, 28, 29 and 30.
2. The Head of the Internal Market and Trade Division reports to the Director of the Office.
3. The number of employees in the Internal Market and Trade Division is three (3).
