Since 2004, the Kosovo Government respectively the Ministry of European Integration in cooperation with the European Commission, is providing scholarships for postgraduate studies in prestigious European universities, whereby dozens of Kosovo students benefited from.
Young Cell Scheme programee is one of the most prestigious scholarships in Kosovo, considering that apart from scholarships, it provides the opportunity for these grantees to participate in public institutions of Republic of Kosovo.
The aim of YSC scholarships is to create an effective, efficient and transparent public administration, through capacity building of civil servants in the most important areas of public administration.
The importance of Young Cell Scheme Programme is based on two facts: the consolidation and strengthening of public administration is one of the most important preconditions of the European integration process; and development of human resources is fundamental precondition for sustainable economic development of Kosovo.
Up to date, 246 YSC students have completed their master studies. Few years ago they were students at the prestigious European schools, while today they are carriers of the Kosovo`s EU integration process.
Next year, the Ministry of European Integration and the European Commission will announce the new round of YSC scholarships.
