Prishtina, 31 October 2017 – Minister of European Integration, Dhurata Hoxha, hosted today in a meeting the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Norway, Per Strand Sjaastad, and on this occasion they discussed about the possibility of deepening the cooperation, about the support of this friendly country regarding the dynamism of the integration process of the Republic of Kosovo.
Many friendly countries have supported our country in many fields and contributed in realization of the European agenda, and among them the Norwegian support was very welcome, said Minister Hoxha.
“Particular components of the integration process, such as economic development, rule of law and energy, are some of the fields that the Kingdom of Norway has strongly supported. We consider that these fields contribute to the fulfilment of conditions within this process. We agreed with the Ambassador about the intensification of the process and I am happy that I received proper support for this matter”, said Minister Dhurata Hoxha by welcoming the support for the European agenda.
The Norwegian Ambassador, Per Strand Sjaastad, stated that Norway will support Kosovo in all aspects of integration, in international organizations and mechanisms, and in the integration process.
The contribution of Norwegian taxpayers for the well-being of Kosovo citizens is valuable, and this friendly country has also contributed and supported the visa liberalization process.
