Minister Hoxha met with Mr. Erhard Busek, the integration process is unstoppable

Prishtina, 16 February 2017 – Minister of European Integration, Dhurata Hoxha, received today in a meeting the former Austrian Chancellor, Mr. Erhard Busek, the distinguished friend of the Republic of Kosovo, whereby discussed the achievements and challenges of the integration process. The Ambassador, Gernot Pfandler, MEP, Lucas Mandl, and Austria-Kosovo Friendship Chairperson in the Austrian Parliament, Carmen Jeitler-Cincelli, were present at this meeting.

Minister Hoxha highly praised and appreciated Mr. Busek`s contribution to the Republic of Kosovo and of other friends from Austria, being one of the strongest voices not only to Kosovo’s statehood, but also to the advancement of state-building and integration processes at regional and global level.

“Mr. Busek, the achievements of our country, will be attributed to your dedication and your country, which is a valuable value to our state and statehood. We marked achievements in the process, but also challenges. We assumed the implementation of the SAA and the European Reforms Agenda, which will bring a new level of statehood and quality of life for our citizens”, stated Minister Hoxha, adding that visa liberalization would facilitate and contribute to the advancement of well-being of our citizens.

Mr. Busek praised Kosovo’s achievements in this 10th anniversary of independence, stressing that the integration process requires determination to the strengthening of law enforcement, good neighbourliness and enhancement of well-being of citizens. We stand with you in these challenges, strongly and determined to achieve your integration aspirations.
