Prishtina, 17 January 2019 – During the solemn opening of the Office for European Union Programme – “Creative Europe”, the Minister of European Integration noted the importance of this programme in Kosovo. The event was also attended by Minister of Culture, Kujtim Gashi and EU officials.
Minister Hoxha noted that “Creative Europe” programme will enable the community of culture to move forward by creating influential artwork not only in Kosovo but also elsewhere. In this regard, she also stated that Kosovar organizations will have the opportunity to apply for grants for multi-year cooperation projects, for translating books, for building cultural networks, or for creating multinational cultural platforms.
The Minister expressed her gratitude towards the EU, in particular towards the Minister of Culture, Mr Kujtim Gashi, for the commitment to create appropriate policies and environment for promoting cultural diversity, to support creative activities in Kosovo, thus, paving the road for our creative people to be part of all international developments in the cultural sector and beyond.
