Both ambassadors reaffirmed the support for the visa liberalization process for Kosovo citizens and congratulated Minister Çollaku for signing the Stabilization and Association Agreement (SAA) between Kosovo and EU and expressed readiness to assist Kosovo in meeting the reforms deriving from this agreement.
Minister Çollaku thanked the diplomats for the continuous support that their countries have provided and continue to provide to Kosovo in general and for the processes related to the European agenda with a special emphasis on visa liberalization.
As a head of the liberalization process, Minister Çollaku highlighted that Kosovo has met all the criteria set forth for liberalization and it is fairly expected by the end of this year to receive positive recommendation.
Whereas, Ambassador of Finland Mrs Huhtamaki and Ambassador of Denmark Mr Sandau-Jensen, also reaffirmed their support for Kosovo’s membership in UNESCO and in other international organizations.
During these meetings, the Minister has informed the parties about the steps that are being taken in the context of preparations for implementation of SAA. He explained that it is being prepared a National Program for implementation of the SAA.
