EUROPE TO US REPRESENTS STABILITY AND PEACE

Minister Çitaku emphasized that: “the Stabilisation and Association Agreement will be the foundation of our country’s integration process into the European Union, and will represent an excellent political, legal and economic offer of European Union for Kosovo to join the most powerful political and economic block of world.”

The Minister also added that:”During the last few years, Kosovo has suffered significant and meaningful changes that have further accelerated the country’s European integration, reflecting further consolidation as an independent and functional European state. If we refer to the known analogy of the road and the journey, which is often used to describe the integration process, it can be said that last Friday, with the conclusion of SAA negotiations, we have had a significant turning point that leads Kosovo on the fast and only track, toward the final destination, that of the member country”.

Minister Çitaku during this conference thanked the entire political spectrum in the country for presenting a political unity, and that “None of this would have been possible without a consensus of the entire political spectrum in Kosovo and without their full support during the SAA negotiations. This has once again demonstrated and proved our full unity when it comes to Kosovo’s European agenda, and this certainly because Europe primarily represents stability and peace for us”.
