Prishtina, 16 March 2016 – Minister of European Integration, Mr. Bekim Çollaku , hosted today in a meeting the EU Special Representative and the chief of the EU Office in Kosovo, Mr. Samuel Zbogar, with whom he discussed about the preparations made to host the experts’ assessment mission regarding the fulfilment of the last 8 recommendations of the EC in the process of visa liberalization.
Minister Çollaku, stated that the institutions responsible for fulfilment of the last criteria, are ready and well prepared to host and respond to inquiries of the experts from the assessment mission.
Both interlocutors expressed once again disappointment for not voting the members of the PRB Board by the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo. Despite this, it was a joint conclusion that institutions should proceed again this issue within a very short period of time.
It was also discussed about the preparations of the Kosovo institutions on implementation of the Stabilisation and Association Agreement, which will enter into force on April 1.
