Division for Justice, Freedom and Security
1. The duties and responsibilities of the Division for Justice, Freedom and Security are:
1.1. Coordination of the stabilization-association process, within the negotiation chapters 24 and 31;
1.2. Coordination of governmental negotiation structures in the field of European integration, within the framework of negotiation chapters 24 and 31;
1.3. Coordination of the preparation, implementation and monitoring of Government documents in the field of European integration, within the framework of negotiation chapters 24 and 31;
1.4. Coordination of regular reporting to the European Commission, within the framework of negotiation chapters 24 and 31;
1.5. Providing support for institutional advancement for the implementation of EU legislation (Acquis), within the framework of negotiation chapters 24 and 31;
1.6. Providing support in the process of approximation of the relevant chapters of the Acquis, within the framework of negotiating chapters 24 and 31.
2. The Head of the Division for Justice, Freedom and Security reports to the Director of the Office.
3. The number of employees in the Division for Justice, Freedom and Security is three (3).
