Priština, 10. mart 2017 – Ministarka za evropske integracije, gđa Mimoza Ahmetaj održala je danas veoma plodan sastanak sa ambasadorkom Hrvatske na Kosovu, gđa Marija Kapitanović.
Hrvatska je bila i nastavlja da bude uzor za Kosovo u pravcu uspešne integracije u Evropskoj uniji. Takođe, Hrvatska je u kontinuitetu podržala Kosovo u ovom procesu, i ovom prilikom se ministarka Ahmetaj zahvalila ambasadorki Kapitanović za stalnu saradnju i podršku Hrvatske za Kosovo, posebno u procesu evropskih integracija.
U ovom sastanku, detaljnije se razgovaralo o unapređenju sprovođenja Sporazuma o stabilizaciji i pridruživanju (SSP) jer je Hrvatska bila prva zemlja zapadnog Balkana u kojoj je primenjen instrument SSP-a i kako su upravljani izazovi u uvom procesu. Svakako da Kosovo ima potrebe za hrvatsko iskustvo i stručnost u sprovođenje SSP-a da služi kao vodič tokom ovog procesa.
Tokom sastanka se razgovaralo i o trenutnoj situaciji sa Evropskom agendi reformi, konsultacijama sa ključnim akterima, o posvećenosti Kosova za programe EU-a i trenutnoj situaciji oko procesa vizne liberalizacije za Kosovo.
Ovom prilikom je ministarka Ahmetaj naglasila značaj neposrednog povezivanja zvaničnika kosovskih institucija sa hrvatskim kolegama tako da i komunikacija i razmena budu struktuirane i konkretne.
Ambasadorka Kapitanović sa njene strane, ponovila je spremnost Hrvatske za proširenje saradnje oko evropske agende, posebno u okviru sprovođenja SSP-a.
