Prishtinë, 7 mars 2013 – Sot u mbajtë takimi i rradhës i Bordit të Përbashkët për Sundimin e Ligjit. Takimi u kryesua nga Z. Hajredin Kuçi, Zëvendës Kryeministër, njëherit Ministër i Drejtësisë, Z. Bernd Borchardt, Shef i EULEX’it në Kosovë dhe Z. Samuel Žbogar, Shef i Zyrës së Bashkimit Evropian në Kosovë.
Në takim morrën pjesë edhe Ministrja e Integrimit Evropian, Vlora Çitaku, Ministri i Punëve të Brendshme, Bajram Rexhepi si dhe zyrtarë të lartë të EULEX-it dhe institucioneve të Republikës së Kosovës. Temë e diskutimit ishte zbatimi i Kompaktit.
Ministrja Çitaku, prezantoi zbatimin e kritereve afatëshkurtëra për fillimin e negociatave për Marrëveshjën për Stabilizim Associim me çrast të pranishmit i njoftoi se tashmë raporti është përfunduar dhe është përcjellur në Bruksel, tek Komisioneri Fuele. Poashtu, Ministrja Çitaku u fokusua edhe në kriteret afatshurtëra që ndërlidhen me sundimin e ligjit dhe potencoi se “që të gjitha kriteret afatshkurta janë arritë dhe që Kosova tash është në pritje të hapjes së negociatave për Marrveshjen për Stabilizim Assocciim.”
Ndër të tjera, Ministrja Çitaku komentoi edhe mbi mekanizmin përcjellës të kompaktit. Ky mekanizëm i monitorimit është më se i mirësëardhur pasi që është ndëlidhur me kriteret për liberalizim të vizave dhe me studimin e fizibilitetit. Poashtu, në takim u theksua rëndësia e partneritetit në hartimin e këtij mekanizmi përcjellës si dhe në nevojën e bashkpunimit të ngushtë në zbatim, në monitorim dhe në raportim.
Shef i EULEX’it Z. Borchard, u pajtua që kjo është fryma në të cilën të gjithë akterët relevant duhet të bashkpunojnë dhe që kjo është rruga para nesh.
