Prishtinë 26. qershor 2014 – Me ftesë të shkollës politike të Prishtinës, ministrja e Integrimit Evropian, Vlora Çitaku ka marrë pjesë në Seminarin e Akademisë Rajonale për Demokraci.
Me këtë rast Ministrja Çitaku në mes tjerash tha: ” Kosova ka arritur një progres të kashtëzakonshëm përsa i përket të drejtave të komuniteteve por ka mbetur ende shumë punë për tu bërë. Kemi ende shumë sfida para nesh dhe kjo më shtyn dhe motivon që edhe më tutje të punoj edhe më shumë për të afruar dhe për të respektuar të drejtat e çdo qytetari që jeton në Republikën e Kosovës. Ka hapësirë për të bërë shumë më shumë dhe këtë duhet dhe do të mund t’a bëjmë vetëm në koordinim të plotë të institucioneve, shoqërisë civile, organizatave ndërkombëtarë dhe të gjithë faktorëve relevantë”.
Në fund të këtijë seminari u tha se të gjithë qytetarët e Kosovës meritojnë të jetojnë të lirë, të kenë të drejta të garantuara, dhe të mund të ndjekin lumturinë e tyre pa asnjë dallim.
Informatë:
Akademija Rajonale për Demokraci është një nismë rajonale e 7 vendeve të Ballkanit Perëndimor të cilat janë pjese të Rrjetit të Shkollave për Studime Politike të Këshillit të Evropës. Ky projekt synon ndërtimin e një kulture të re politike dhe krijimin e elitave te reja politike në rajon.
