Montenegro is taking important steps towards membership in the European Union, and its experience in this process is valuable for Kosovo in the function of preparations for the next phases. After the workshop for the exchange of experiences recently held in Tirana with the Albanian negotiating team, Chief Negotiator Zulfaj expressed interest in such an exchange also taking place with Montenegro.
The interlocutors also discussed bilateral relations and the Berlin Process. Montenegro is hosting the Berlin Process for the first time this year, therefore the meeting discussed the opportunities that this process offers to deepen regional cooperation and economic integration of the region.
The Berlin Process is an important platform for promoting regional cooperation. The agreements signed within its framework must be implemented, as they benefit all citizens of the region, especially young people.
