The Chief Negotiator with the EU, Jeton Zulfaj, today received the Ambassador of France, Olivier Guérot.
The Chief Negotiator of the Republic of Kosovo with the European Union, Jeton Zulfaj, today received the Ambassador of France in Kosovo, Olivier Guérot, in a meeting focused on Kosovo’s European agenda.
Ambassador Guérot congratulated Mr. Zulfaj on his new position and expressed his support for the reform process.
The implementation of the Reform Agenda and Growth Plan and the government’s priorities towards EU membership were the topics of discussion. Mr. Zulfaj emphasized that the government’s priority is the formalization of candidate status and the opening of negotiations for membership, which are in the function of economic development, democratic advancement and the well-being of citizens.
Candidate status and the opening of negotiations for Kosovo provide equal conditions and opportunities towards advancing towards EU membership.
The meeting also discussed current topics of common interest.
