The Chief Negotiator of the Republic of Kosovo with the European Union, Mr. Jeton Zulfaj, received today the Ambassador of Austria to Kosovo, H.E. Georg Schnetzer.
The meeting was held as a continuation of the meeting held in Vienna between the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Mr. Albin Kurti, and the Chancellor of Austria, Mr. Christian Stocker, where Chief Negotiator Zulfaj met with the Federal Minister for Europe, Integration and Family, Ms. Claudia Bauer.
The meeting discussed the latest developments in the process of Kosovo’s integration into the EU, the implementation of reforms in the Growth Plan and bilateral relations and cooperation between the Republic of Kosovo and Austria. Mr. Zulfaj emphasized that Kosovo is focused on implementing reforms with dedication and underlined the importance of the European Union making a decision on the status of the candidate country and the opening of negotiations.
Chief Negotiator Zulfaj thanked Ambassador Schnetzer for the visit and for Austria’s continued support for Kosovo in the European Union membership process.
