The Chief Negotiator of the Republic of Kosovo with the European Union, Jeton Zulfaj, met with the Director of the CiviKos platform, Dardan Kryeziu, and Project Manager Gresa Berisha.
The meeting focused on the importance of collaborating with civil society to advance the European agenda in general, and the Reform Agenda in particular. Mr. Zulfaj emphasized that reforms are, at their core, actions aimed at economic development, democratic progress, and the improvement of living conditions for citizens. Therefore, the involvement of civil society represents a significant contribution.
The Reform Agenda contains 111 steps divided into five policy areas, while our ambitions for socio-economic transformation are even broader. In this regard, we discussed opportunities for structured cooperation with civil society through the CiviKos platform, with the aim of enhancing transparency and ensuring better access to information.
Integration into the European Union is, above all, a process of institutional and societal transformation that requires the engagement of the entire society.
