Minister Çollaku will meet with the senior state officials of France and Italy

Prishtina, 6 April – Minister of European Integration Mr. Bekim Çollaku today travels to Paris, where he will conduct meetings with senior officials of the French State, with whom he will discuss about the deepening of bilateral cooperation and regarding the support of France for the Stabilisation and Association Agreement and visa liberalization dialogue for Kosovo.

After his visit to Paris, Minister Çollaku will also conduct a visit in Rome, where for two days he will be hosted in meetings by senior state officials of Italy. During these meetings, among others it will be discussed about the inclusion of Kosovo in regional initiatives and membership in international organizations, advancing the European agenda and about the dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia that is facilitated by the EU.

The official visits in Paris and Rome are in the light of engagement of Minister Çollaku to intensify the communication with EU member states, with the aim of reaffirming the support for the signature of the SAA and the successful conclusion of the visa liberalization dialogue.

Part of the delegation of Minister Çollaku during the meetings in Rome will be the chairperson of the Parliamentary Committee for European Integration, Teuta Sahatqija and two members of this committee Mr. Xhavit Haliti, also the vice-president of Kosovo Assembly and Mr. Ilir Deda.
